Full Grain Leather Belts

Our handmade full-grain leather belts use one solid, thick strap of premium leather that will hold up to years of use. We source all our leather from Seidel Tannery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a specialty tannery with over 75 years of experience making custom vegetable-tanned full-grain leather.

American Made Leather Belts

Every belt is handmade in America at our workshop in Kenosha, WI. Our leather is sourced less than fifty miles away, and we design all our patented belt buckles.

Where are your belts made?

All of our leather belts are proudly made in the USA at our workshop in Kenosha, WI.

What size leather belt should I buy?

We offer a complete sizing guide to help you choose the perfect fit. As a general rule, we recommend you always measure yourself to get the best fitting belt. Buy belts that fit in the middle hole of the range of belt holes. If you can't measure for the perfect fit, buy a belt two inches larger than your men's pants size.

No worries if you don't fit into a standard belt size. We also offer our men's leather belts in custom sizes up to size 50 at no extra cost.

How are men's belts sized?

Typically, men's leather belts are sized according to a rule of thumb: your pants size + 2". This could be inaccurate depending on the material your pants are made with, so we always recommend measuring your waist and consulting our sizing guide to get the right fit.

Can I adjust my leather belt?

Yes! Every belt comes with six holes spaced 1" apart. This gives you lots of room to adjust if your waist size changes or to wear with different outfits.

Can leather belts be shortened?

Yes, our leather belts can be shortened if your belt has stretched or you have lost weight. It's relatively easy to do with the right tools. All you need is a leather hole punch and a small screwdriver.

What is full-grain leather?

Full-grain leather comes from the uppermost layer of the hide. Once the hair is removed from full-grain leather, you can see the entire grain of the hide and all of its original character. You can see the imperfections of the cow and the character it got from everyday life. Rather than wearing out, full-grain leather develops a rich patina over time, allowing the natural marbling, texture, and natural color variations in the hide to come through.

Leather belts crafted with full-grain leather are extremely strong and durable, and make wonderful, long-lasting belts. The natural surface of the top layer makes each leather belt unique. We make most of our belts with full-grain leather hides, the most durable leather available.

What is the best way to maintain my leather belt?

Proper care and maintenance are key to keeping your leather belt looking its best. Start by regularly wiping your belt with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and dirt. For deeper cleaning, use a leather cleaner that’s specifically designed for premium leather goods, followed by a conditioner to keep the leather supple and prevent it from drying out or cracking. It’s also important to store your belt away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures at the end of the day, as these can cause the leather to fade or become brittle over time.
