Absolutely awesome how they make these buckles look cool and have unique ways to use them! Here i was living in boringville never knowing that buckles like these existed, why would anyone ever get a normal belt??? Greatest belt ever!!!
TL;DR: if you're on the fence about this, buy one of the "imperfect" ones. You won't regret it.
A few weeks ago, my daily-wear belt finally tore. I don't really wear my shirts tucked in, so wearing a belt is solely for the practical purpose of keeping my pants above my butt no matter what. My last belt was a $20 "gEnUiNe lEaThEr" belt from a big-box store. It lasted a good long time for what it was, but the silver paint had been worn off the buckle in splotches for years, exposing the copper underneath and making it look even cheaper. All the belts I could find in the same price range ($30-40 now due to inflation) looked like they should have been part of a cheap Halloween costume for a businessman or a cowboy.
Then I stumbled across THIS beauty. The full price ones were more than I could spend right now (though they are certainly WELL worth it). I spent $60 on this "imperfect" one, and I saw plenty of $60 belts in other stores that were only "genuine" leather, not top-grain, and they just had normal buckles, not ones that make me feel like a badass cyberpunk. UPS took forever to get this belt delivered to me because after sending it to my local distribution center, they sent it back halfway across the country. But that's on UPS, and I'm sure that is the exception, not the norm. It was worth the wait; after receiving it and actually wearing it, I almost feel like I ripped Obscure Belts off by only paying $60 for it. The buckle takes a small bit of getting used to, but not much, and I really like the neater appearance of tucking the excess behind the belt instead of in front. Not to mention the satisfying click the buckle makes when you release it. As a bigger guy, I was a little afraid that my stomach might squish the buckle and make it come open at inopportune times, but that hasn't happened. Really glad I ordered this, it'll be my daily-wear belt for as long as it lasts.

Excellent costumer service. Bought a belt a year ago, the mechanism was dry and they were able to fix it with no questions, plus they gave me an extra piece in case Ihave more trouble.
I was a little concerned this would draw the eye too muc, but it is elevated and highly usable without looking like a piece of cosplay. Highly recommend.

You can really see the care and craftsmanship that goes into the belt and the buckle. I bought my belt at an event and they made sure my belt fit and liked it all without feeling pressured. Another person came by and state he has had a belt from this company for 4 years and it is still in great condition and was a solid purchase. I am excited wear this belt more.

I was so happy to be able to order a belt replacement kit to give new life to my Obscure Skeleton buckle. My new perfectly sized to order leather belt arrived in a cloth protection carry bags with all I needed to install the new leather belt. Good as new!
I found it difficult to thread the belt into my belt loops, until I discovered it was much easier to unscrew the stud before threading and screw it back in afterwards. So now I store the stud in the buckle when I'm not wearing it!
Way better than advertised. Leather is awesome and the Buckle is so unique.
